Banana Banh Mi: Privacy Policy
Banana Banh Mi is a pixel shop game for Android, iOS and the web (banhmichuoi.com). This policy explains what the game collects, why, and how you can delete it.
Playing without an account
In the app you can play with no account. Your shop is saved on your phone only. The Android and iPhone apps make no network connection at all: everything the game needs is inside the app and changes only with an app update, and nothing you do in the app is sent to us.
Backing up your shop (optional, web only)
On the web (banhmichuoi.com), if you choose Back up your shop in Settings, you sign in with Google through Google Firebase Authentication. The Android and iPhone apps have no backup and no sign-in. We then receive and keep:
- your email address, the name and profile picture of that sign-in, and an account ID;
- your shop: the save and the moves you make in the game (to keep the game fair, the server replays them);
- the in-game name and @handle you choose, your leaderboard entries, friends and gifts;
- world chat messages you send and feedback you send us.
Fair play and security (web only)
While you play online, the game sends a random ID made by this device and a short hash of ordinary device traits (screen size, pixel ratio, time zone, language, platform, number of CPU cores, touch support) so that one account plays on one device at a time and cheating can be spotted. It does not read contacts, photos, location or files. IP addresses are kept only as a keyed hash; the country (from Cloudflare) is used for anonymous statistics.
Error reports (web only)
When the game hits an error while online, it may send the error message, where in the game's code it happened, the game version and the page path. No personal data is included.
Web only: analytics
The website banhmichuoi.com uses Google Analytics to count visits. The Android and iOS apps do not run analytics.
Sharing
We do not sell your data and we show no tracking ads. We use these service providers to run the web game: Google Firebase (sign-in), Cloudflare (network and security) and the server that hosts the game. We disclose data only when the law requires it.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your account data while your account exists. You can delete your account at any time: on the web open Settings → Account → Delete account (the apps have no account), or see how to delete your account. Deleting removes your name, @handle, email, profile picture, sign-in link, IP hash, sessions, friends and unclaimed gifts at once, hides your chat messages, and removes your shop save after 30 days. If you never backed up, nothing is on our server: uninstalling the app deletes the shop on your phone.
Children
The game is meant for players aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
You can see and change your in-game name in the game, delete your account as above, or write to support@bananabanhmi.com to ask what data we hold about you or to have it corrected or deleted.
Changes
We will post any change to this policy on this page with a new effective date.
- email, tên và ảnh đại diện của tài khoản đăng nhập đó, cùng một mã tài khoản;
- quán của bạn: bản lưu và các thao tác trong game (máy chủ chạy lại để game công bằng);
- tên trong game và @handle bạn chọn, thứ hạng trên bảng xếp hạng, bạn bè và quà tặng;
